Our History
A-Chill Air Conditioning & Refrigeration was founded in 2016 in Springvale, Achill, with a clear aim: to give homes and businesses in the west of Ireland a local specialist they could rely on, without long waits for service. From its base on Achill Island, the business has grown to serve residential and commercial customers throughout County Mayo, from Westport and Castlebar to Ballina and beyond. Its services now cover residential and commercial air conditioning, heat pump installation and repairs, ventilation and refrigeration. Our Founder
Darran Moran has more than 20 years of experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration trade, having worked on a wide range of systems and brands in Australia, England and Dublin. This varied, hands-on background gave him a thorough understanding of how systems should be designed, installed and maintained to suit each individual property. In 2016, Darran brought that experience home and founded A-Chill Air Conditioning & Refrigeration in Springvale, Achill, giving local homes and businesses a reliable specialist who knows the area and responds promptly.
